Student Experience
How studying at CBTS works

Designed for students with full-time jobs, family, and ministry.
In-Person and Online
Our 3 modes of course delivery combine the best of both in-person classroom experience with the flexibility of taking courses online.
Study from Anywhere
CBTS students can take courses from anywhere in the world, allowing them to stay in their own local church and be mentored by their own pastor.
Start Classes Anytime
CBTS students are not bound by a semester structure. They may enroll in courses at any time and take as many courses as they like.

“I particularly enjoyed the different kinds of classroom settings—whether it was at my own pace in my home, in my office, being able to work on things by myself, but then also being able to come to Owensboro to participate in class and to enjoy the teaching live, and to enjoy being with other students.”
Pastor of Windsor Christian Fellowship, Windsor, Maine.
3 Course Types
We combine the best of the in-person classroom experience
with the flexibility of taking courses online.
In-Person Modular
Students arrive on campus for a 3 to 5-day course taught by CBTS faculty. This program offers an opportunity for participants to engage deeply with the subject matter, interact with knowledgeable instructors, and collaborate with their peers in a face-to-face learning environment. CBTS holds 4 or more modular courses per year.

Residential Students
You can study in person at our campus in Owensboro, KY. Pastoral track students may relocate and receive mentoring from the pastors at Grace Reformed Baptist Church.
